If you have ever tried to use crutches, you quickly realize that your arm pits ache as much as your injury! The 2" of padding helps cushion the weight that your underarms are bearing.

Check out photo of crutch without the" Padded Cover"! It really does make a big difference. The covers fit snug over the hard rubber arm guards. Fastened with 4" strips of velcro on hand grips and covers. The padding is made of a batting that will not crush after repeated use.

Black Clutch Purse: Large enough to carry phone, credit cards, $$, etc. without getting in your way or unbalancing you! The Clutch purse easily attaches to the hand grip with ribbon, and has a small velcro fastener at the bottom. This prevents the clutch purse from swinging as you maneuver about.

Black Toe Bootie: Toe Bootie is a must if you want to keep your toe warm! The high pile fleece inside the toe bootie is much warmer than any sock! (I might have a matching colored toe bootie. They sell out quickly)

While I have not have my surgery yet I have put my crutch pads on my crutches and can already tell that they are going to be so much more comfortable to use post op!! Shipping was so fast!! I'm 3 weeks into adjusting to my CPAP and I have a love/hate relationship with it. It took me awhile to figure out that the silicone on my face against the pillow is an issue for me, so I ordered these strap covers. I also didn't appreciate looking like a serial killer in the morning with turbulent hair. What a godsend. For the first time in 20 nights, I slept like the dead. I think the sensory part of having my face move easily across the pillow (I'm a side sleeper) was the trick. I ordered the non-Velcro version, but I recommend springing for the velcro type to make it easier to slip on and take off the headpiece. The magnets and my clumsiness made it a bit of a goat rope to put on, but I have it now. If i had to do it over again, I'd go for the quicker, easier option. Pat is delightful and I can't recommend highly enough.
